Division 9 tournament report 5/05/2007
The PA division of the American Bass Anglers held it's second event of the 2007 season on the North East River in Maryland and we had a Fantastic Day! We had 21 anglers that fished with us on a sunny day with temps in the mid 70's and a slight breeze. The water temperature ranged from 62° to 66° depending where you were at. the water was stained with visibility of about 1' Out of the 21 anglers 18 managed to bring in at least 1 fish we had 5 five fish limits come in and 6 fish over 5lbs. The reports I heard were the fish were caught on wood, over grass and near rocky jetties and humps. and were caught on everything from jigs to chatter baits, crank baits and spinner baits. I managed 2 nice fish that weighed in @ 8.11lbs and both came on case plastic sweet p rigged on a peoples choice 1/8oz black shakey head jigs.
