Early Times Operation Rod & Reel a big success!!!
From Pennsylvania Division 9, October 6, 2012 - Early Times Operation Rod & Reel. 12 AFT members and 18 Volunteer Boaters combined efforts to take 30 area soldiers fishing. American Bass Anglers and Early Times Kentucky Whisky joined to create Operation Rod & Reel. Through this program, active-duty service members from selected military installations each received fishing equipment and a free fishing trip to an ABA bass tournament on lake Wallenpaupack, PA. 30 Solders competed for prizes
supplied by Calvitti Co. and Pro Staff Bass Mafia.

Ryan Purcell took home big fish honors with a 3.06 lb bass. 18 Volunteer Boaters competed in a one
fish lunker tournament

12 AFT Members Boaters competed in
a division 9 AFT tournament

Scott McDonough landed big fish a 6.75 lb largemouth

Next Divisional Tournament: October 13, 2012 from Anchor Marine, North East, Maryland map These anglers accrued valuable points toward the divisional angler of the year title. The points champion from each division will compete in the annual American Bass Anglers AFT Angler of The Year Final Round Fish-Off. In addition, the top 500 anglers from the various divisions will earn the right to compete in the three-day ABA, AFT National Championship tournament.
